I Am Shouting Out for Kimo and Sabi's Contest and Today is Miss Peach's First Blogoversary!

Can you hear me now!

I just finished my cup of tea at Miss Peach's cottage and she gave us all who visited her lovely little celebration this badge to bring home. We're suppose to tell those we love...that we love them. Yoggie and I just spent a wonderful relaxing, quiet day on a secret beach. It was just time for ouselves after all that's been going on in our lives lately. We haven't been able to visit one another very much in a long time. So this little card is for you Yoggie...You color my world with your love.

Taken the day off...

The weather where I live is cold and overcast and windy. It even feels like winter again.
At Yoggie's place he's got competition with the new beanie baby and needed to get away, so we decided to go away together for a while to a deserted beach and just soak up the sun and relax.
We've taken along my favoirte quilt and we're feasting on lomi-lomi salmon and catmint tea. So, see ya when we see ya!
I had to come back and post the poem Yoggie just composed while we were our comfortable setting.

Yoggie: You picked a great spot for a vacation! I love it here on the beach with you.

Hearing the waves
breake
on the beach
Seeing the
sunset
on the
horizon
Feeling my
heartbeat
close to
yours
Is the purrfect
moment
in my
life.

Kissing you...

Tissue Paper Queen

Did I hear the sound of tissue paper being upwrapped?
Why, yes I did!
My Auntie sent my Mom Bean a box full of pretty things for Mother's Day and every thing was wrapped with lots and lots of pretty colored tissue paper. Thank you, Auntie.
Sorrry I had to shout, she's touring Ireland and England right now, and she wouldn't know I was saying thank you until she gets home.

I'm happy!
I'm the Tissue Paper Queen.
All tissue paper belongs to me.
Forever!

It's very, very hot here. Yesterday it got up to 98 degrees. Mom bean soaked all the plants real good and so far we haven't lost anything. Today it is suppose to be cooler--Ha! by whose standards...it's already 95 degrees at 3 PM. Crazy weather people...by them books and send them to school...geez...whadda' they learn...

Yoggie, sweet. I'm sorry you're not getting enough attention from your bean's right now. I understand how busy beans can get. My mom bean doesn't just get busy, she gets possessed. Thank goodness I have lots of tissue paper to nap on while she's possessed with her book writing. Maybe you and I sould meet in our secret garden soon and watch the moon rise...or set...depending on where we go. I'll let you know. I have to talk to a few people first.

Time For A Few Days of Snooze

My mom bean has gone from one extreme to another. First we have the windows open, all the curtains and blinds pulled back, the brilliant sunshine and wonderful fresh breezes coming in--for one whole day--then today, she darkens every window in the place and blocks out all the light. Too hot out today for windows to be open--so she says. (Acutally they were open all morning until about two this afternoon--but hey, that's my regular naptime.) No matter how much I protested that I was darn tired of hibernating it didn't change a thing. Tomorrow is supposed to be in the nineties. How can it do that? How dreadfully awful the weather has become. I'm on strike until I get the right kind of weather! So I'm going to snooze right here in this spot until things change to suit me. This may take a few days.

I have been tagged with two meme's in recent days...I'm not up to playing them today. Besides being PO'd, my mom bean had two of her big teeth pulled Tuesday and is still just lolling around. It must be those pills they gave her--too much catnip in them.

Speaking of catnip! My mom's neigbor bought me a real live catnip plant. It's just a little thing right now and will remain outdoors. But I ate a leaf. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm....good. Maybe--- hey, mom bean, will you go outside, NOW and get me a leaf to munch on? That might change my disgruntled mood. Go mom, get it now...for me...please... :))

Happy Mother's Day to all Mom Beans

Mother's day is a special day, I understand,
For gals and girls of the human race,
Whose children give them praise
And let them have the upper hand.

Mom Beans in a cats world
Are about the best there is,
And I'm so glad I've got an MB
Upon whose lap I get to curl.
Love you, Mom Bean

I would have had this up sooner while it was still MB days in the rest of the world, but you see my MB and I don't get up that early, and never remember to post early on important events. Maybe we should use Hawaii's time zone and then perhaps we would be in sync with the rest of the world.

My Guest at the Garden Tea Party

...click on the picture to make it larger...
It seems like it's been forever that my mom bean and I have been working on this photo of everyone who dressed up for my Garden Party Tea. A lot more kitties came, but we only got these pictures. We were able to get eveyone wearing fancy duds in the picture except Scotch and Stryder. They had posed with me under the Rose Trellis--that MoMo had sent to me. Their picture was too hard to capture and we appologize for to them for not getting them included in this album photo. Mom bean doesn't have photo shop like a lot of my friends bean's do. She has to use several programs to get things the way she wants them. That's what took so long. But you may copy-paste this to your blog or just print it out if you like. My new neighbor gave me a special Kitty Scrapbooking kit and Album for my birthday so I'm going to put this photo in my new Scrapbook.

Thanks again to everyone who participated. It was great fun! Mom bean has been overdoing it a little too much these last few days. Friday she went shopping for food all day, Saturday she went shopping in the rain for flowers all day, and then planted them that evening, Sunday she worked on this photo all day, and today she's been doing laundry and cleaning the floors. I know she is getting stronger but it worries me that she's trying to do too much. I follow her around meowing to get her to make a lap but she doesn't listen to me. She's not suppose to do so much in a day, but what are we wee cats supposed to do to a big human to get them to rest. I even bit her ankles a few times to get her attention but that didn't work. I ended up getting scolded for bitting. I think I like it better when she wasn't feeling so good, at least there was a lap always available.

As for me, I've been kind of bored these last few days, Except! I tracked down a big fly that got in my apartment today and I Got It! I really did, and then I pawed it to death. Well the fun is over now, so I'm off to take a nap in the pile of laundry before it's time for bed. It was a beautiful all-windows-open-day, and even some fans running, so I will go and dream about what a nice day it was, because tomorrow it will be cool and raining again. Phoooey!

Also...today is Rosie's first birthday.

It was an awesome twenty-four hours. Thank you all for coming.
I enjoyed each and every one of my guest.
The last moments of the party were magical!
I'll be putting an album together, hopefully this weekend.
