Warm fur to capacity
Discovered by Mom
I miss visiting with my cat-friends and furry cousins. Mom bean is just too busy and doesn't give in to my demands. But I've learned a new human word. Honest! I can say Trout! From time to time my Mom bean tries to get me to eat new flavors of stinky-goodness . I gotta say, The Aristocats Trout beats Fancy Feast Yamon. Who knew? And the Ocean Whitefish and Tuna ain't bad, either. Hey! I guess that makes me Fancy Aristocat! Ha, ha. Better than the title of Spoiled Butt that mom bean calls me.
Oh, what a surprise! We had a real live thunderbumper storm (s) roll across us this afternoon. It wasn't even dinnertime and things got black as night. Hee, hee, I guess you say . . . It Was A Dark and Stormy Afternoon. Yeah, I know, kind of lame. Anway, I took refuge in the bedroom closet. We don't get storms like that where we live. Well, I guess we do, but very rarely. Mom bean says that's because we live in a pocket between some small mountains and we're also a Marine climate. Whatever that means. Anyway, it lasted for a few hours and the wind rattled the window glass and tried to tear up the trees. At least mom bean is happy. She didn't have to go outside and water things with the hose. I don't think she likes to do that this year.
I'm going to try now, while I have the computer in between my paws, to go and visit a few of you. (((((((((furry hugs to everyone))))))))))))

9 paw prints:
I hope you weren't too scared by your storm. We get lots of thunderboomies here. You found a great way to get your sunshine.
Sounds like a bad storm. Glad we missed it. The one we had was bad enough but at least no thunder and lightning.
Oooh, Gretchen thunderboomers are very scary. We stick close to Mom or if she isn't home we hid under the bed.
We always sit there too!!
Thunderbumpers! Sounds like a real big storm! It's gettin to be thunderbumperboommer seazon here, too. And we gotted a lot of rain a couple of days ago. Alla the rain is really makin the garden outside grow!

'It Was A Dark and Stormy Afternoon' reminded me of Throw Mama from the Train, a favorite funny movie. However, that author said 'The night was dry, yet it was raining'. That's way more lame :-p, don't feel bad.
Sunny's Aunt Jenny lives in the state north of you, and she's told me they rarely get true thunderstorms. I can't imagine that. We get them often here. I do not like them, either! I do not like the lightening (bad) and the strong winds (hate). None of our cats like thunderstorms, but Sunny is the one who gets most scared.
Oh Gretchen, you found a good place to soak up the rays! Ollie and William were both fascinated by thunderstorms, they would sit on the bedroom windowsill and watch the lightning! They were very scared of fireworks though. It seems they knew the difference between natural boomies and bean-made ones! On the other paw, my sister's dog, whose name was Lightning, was reduced to a quivering wreck by thunder and lightning! :) xxx
